Happy 5th Birthday Hunter!!

Happy Birthday Hunter & Braxton!!

Hunter turned 5 on Saturday and has been lucky to be born on the same day as his cousin Braxton. The year that Hunter was born Braxton use to say that Hunter was his birthday present. It was cute.

So they did a party for Braxton on Saturday that was a water party and we did Hunters party on Monday. At Braxton's birthday party they did a pool/water party. They had a blast soaking everyone with their water guns including grandma!!

Hunters birthday party was on Monday and the poor boy he was so excited to open his presents and of course me being the mom I wanted to video him opening the gifts but the battery was dead on the video camera so I wanted to plug it into a plug at the pavilion. So I had Hunter move over by the pole and Russ took the metal cover off and it fell and hit Hunter in the head and cut his head open. You will see a picture on the slide where Russell, Jay and I are all looking at Hunters head to see if we were going to have to leave and take him to get stitches. Thank goodness they decided after my father in law Kim and Jay looked at the cut we didn't have too!! Hunter ended up opening his gifts and loving them!! Thanks to all of you for coming to the party! It was a blast! Its always fun being around family and friends!! Thanks also to Sherri for taking such amazing pictures for me!!

Hunter & Easton Go WAKE BOARDING!!!

Can you believe it?? I couldn't!! We were so excited there is a family in our ward the Jaussi's that we have been trying to go wake boarding with for over a week and we finally had to schedule a day to go out with them! Monday was the day we went out together for family night. They like to ski and they have been teaching their oldest boy how to ski and when Hunter seen his ski's he wanted to try. Because they have to be strong enough to hold the rope themselves Russell talked Hunter into trying to wake board with him first which is a trick that one of his friends did with his kids when they were small and I didn't think that Hunter would try it but he did and LOVED it!!

Because Hunter liked it so much and Easton has to do everything Hunter dose he wanted to try it as well. I didn't think he would do it for sure and next thing I knew they were both up and Easton was grinning from ear to ear!! They both had a blast and are already talking about wanting to go out today and board again!! Thanks for going out with us Jaussi's it was so much fun!! I cant wait to go out with your family again!!

Steel Days

Saturday we took the kids to the Steel Day's celebration and I was so excited that my sister Ginny and her girls came with us! We had a lot of fun we went to the parade. It was fun but very hot and the kids were ready to go and do something else before the parade was over.

After the parade we went to the carnival to use our tickets that we had gotten. The boys went on a few rides and while they were having fun on the rides Russell was mastering the basketball game. After a few throws he figured out how to make the baskets almost every shot!

The cool thing is that you only have to make one shot to win one of their prizes and they are all the big ones and it only cost $5.00 to play. He won Hunter a Hulk doll that is bigger than he is and Easton a big dog that he had picked out which was almost bigger than he is. He also won my nephew Dalton a Spiderman doll that he had picked out. They were excited to get them and I'll tell you trying to get them to the car and push Betty in the stroller was pretty challenging.

Also the other thing that we did while we were at the carnival was to have Grandpa Greene ride the Merri-go-round with Betty. This is a tradition that started with Russell's grandpa and at least with my family will carry down throughout my family and their kids.

The tradition is that Grandpa Greene takes the kids on their very first merry go round ride at the carnival. We were not going to do it this year with Betty because we were worried about how jerky the horses are when they go up and down but then we remembered the seat that you can sit on so we had Grandpa Greene ride with her on her very 1st carnival ride!!

I love this picture of the two of them on the ride. doesn't he look like a proud grandpa?!?!

Hunter Looses his 2nd Front Tooth!!!

Hunter lost his 2nd tooth a few days ago and I have been slacking on getting his picture with his 2 front teeth gone so here it is!! It was so cute. I had Betty wrapped in a blanket sleeping on the couch and Hunter bent down to give Betty a kiss and he kissed her so hard and his tooth was sooo loose that when he stood up from loving her his tooth was on her belly. We just laughed!!

Summer Fun

Today we had a fun filled day!! This morning Sherri and I put both Betty and Jaylee in the American Fork Steel days baby contest!! They were both beautiful and although they didn't win I still think that they are the most beautiful girls around!

Then that night went out on the boat with my cousins and their daughter!! As usual I had a blast on the boat! Earlier that afternoon my girlfriend Sherri bought me several outfits for Betty to wear. (Thanks Sherri) I put one of those outfits in my diaper bag just in case and it ended up being a good thing because she blew out of her diaper and so I changed her into one of the onsie shirts that I got from her and I couldn't resist putting on some sunglasses that I had in the diaper bag and she looked so dang cute!! I had a hard time getting them to say on her face because she is still so small but I still think she looks amazingly cute!! I love how she is holding her hand next to the glasses in the first picture posing for me!!

Thanks for going out with us Cameron and Laura it was a lot of fun!

Betty's 1st Doctors Appointment

Betty had her 1st doctors Appointment today! Two weeks already! I cant believe how fast time has already gone by!! The doctor said that she is looking great!! She now weighs 6 lbs 9 oz and is 20 inches tall. She is in the 25% for her weight and 75% for her height!! Hopefully she will stay tall and skinny like my mom!!

Go Russ Go

As most of you know we have been boating a lot this year and Russell is getting better and better at his tricks that he can do!! I have been so impressed with him! I have tried to get some good pictures of him doing all of his tricks and I haven't figured out my camera yet to be able to get his trick as he is doing it but I have gotten some good pictures of the "Air" that he is catching and a few of his big crashes as well!! Go Russell!!!

"Dolly"

When I was a little girl my older brother use to call me dolly and it was a nickname that has stuck with me all growing up. My mom still calls me her little dolly and now I feel that it is time to pass down that name. Especially after seeing Betty in her church dress. I think that she looks like a little doll!! She is so beautiful!

Betty & Jaylee

Sherri came over and brought her precious little girl with her for a visit and we had to get pictures of the two of them together. We couldn't believe the differance in size between the two of them seeing how they are only 2 weeks apart. But I do have to say they are both dolls!!
