Merry Christmas Eve!!!!

Every year we are lucky enough to get Santa to come to the Greene family Christmas party on Christmas Eve. This year was no different. Hunter and Easton love it and Betty had what Santa called a case of "Claus-stra Phobia.

They all liked their gifts that Santa gave them and were excited for all the gifts to come and to be able to give their gifts to their cousins that they had drawn the names of.

Once the party was over at the Greene families we went to Grandma and Grandpa Godfrey's for dinner and a party there. I thought we had taken more pictures hopefully Ginny got some that I can have so I will go over what we did even though I don't have the pics to show it. We ate a delicious dinner, turkey, roast, ham plus any side you could imagine and tons of deserts that we didn't eat much of because we were so full of the yummy dinner. After the dinner we all sat in the living room while Braxton, Jayden and McKenzie read the nativity story from the scriptures. and Hunter, Easton and Kelsey put out the figurines that went to the story as it was their turn.
When that was all done Great Grandma gave us all our gifts and Grandma and Grandpa Godfrey gave the kids 1 gift each to open can you guess what it was????? Yup P.J's it has been tradition for several years now that the kids get p.j.'s from grandma and grandpa because they didn't want the kids wearing their undies Christmas morning in all the pictures and video's.
We were also surprised at 8:30 as we were getting the kids ready for bed to hear laughing and bells and then a knock at the door and you'll never who it was our kids were so lucky to get a personal visit from yup! SANTA they were so excited, Hunter kept saying Santa what did you bring me ( I learned that night that he needs to be taught a little humility instead of me ... me... me...) Santa brought Hunter a RC air plane, Easton a bat man figurine and Betty a stuffed dog! What a sweet Santa we have! Our sweet neighbor Mike Ruoho has been teasing Hunter for months telling him that he was going to tell Santa to bring him a Pink Easy Bake Oven for Christmas. He had told Russell that he was going to see if he could find one used to bring to him. I wonder if Hunter would have cried if that is what he would have gotten. Yup Probably. (Thanks Mikie) :)

The Many Faces of Easton

As I was looking through all the picture that Hunter took of Easton in his Christmas program I had to smile because he had pulled so many different faces. So I thought I would share some of them with you. Tee Hee ;)

Today was Easton's Chistmas Program. He was sooo cute doing his program. Hunter was also a GREAT Help he took all the pictures of the program for me while I videoed. He was so cute. I only wish that I could have gotten pictures of Hunters Christmas Sing in. It was not open for parents to attend because the school is soo big. Well maybe next year.

Happy 4th Birthday Easton!!!

Today is my Sweet Eastons Birthday. He turns 4 years old. He is such a sweet boy. I really feel bad for him and have been worried for a little while because his birthday is so close to Christmas and I didn't want him to feel like he had been jipped. This was definatly not the case. We are throwing him his party on Saturday with all the family but I wanted him to know that on his birthday we were all glad he was born. We let him pick what he wanted to have for dinner, Pizza and then we went and let him pick out his own movie to rent for his birthday.

We also let him open 2 of his birthday presents. He was so excited over them. He gave one to Hunter to open and they opened his motorcycles together and played with them the most of the night. He came running up to Russell and I and gave us big hugs and said thank you for my motorcycle birthday. What a sweetie ha?

So on Saturday we had his friends and family over (except Shelly's we missed you) and they all went sledding down to "grass land" Russell hooked all the kids sleds up to the back of the 4-wheeler and pulled them all over the park. They had so much fun.

When they got done sledding we had Hot Chocolate and goodie bags for all of them and did dinner and gifts with the family after the friend party. Then we opened gifts with everyone.

This is the cake that Easton picked out. When we went to get it I thought to my self $40.00 is alot for a cake and as I picked it up I noticed that they had mistakenly made a 1/2 sheet cake so we had ALOT of cake.
After everyone had eaton as much cake as I could get them to and we loaded them up with cake to take home we were still left with 1/4 sheet of cake. I thought well I guess I will share with the neighbors. ****WRONG****

After cleaning up the party and taking a warm bath to relax for the night I walked out into the living room with Easton saying Hey mom I like this cake and I got my own. It was so cute. He had taken a chunck right out of the middle. I just smiled and as most of you know me I had to pull my camera out again and start snapping pictures. :) Just to give you an idea of how much cake is on his plate. That paper plate is a 10" round plate and it is going off the edge of the plate :)

Happy Birthday Sweet Easton!!!!!!

Fun in the Snow.

Today we had the biggest storm this year. It was a wet heavy snow. When we got home from church Russell was a sweetie and went out with the snowblower and did his best to clean off the driveway and Betty was just loving it. I couldn't get her to come in. She was running from me the minuet I ever got close to her. She would smile and run so I figured if she wanted to play outside I would take some fun pictures and then watch her because I didn't want her to fall in her pritty church dress.
She is so cute she is all girl. She loves this dress. When I put it on her she started to spin side to side and smile.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone

Today was Hunters Thanksgiving program at school. He was so cute wearing his pilgrims hat that he had made in his class, singing his Thanksgiving songs that he had learned in his class. He was so cute. We were so proud of him.

The next day Easton had his Thanksgiving Class party. One of the things they do in their class besides all the fun crafts they do a Thanksgiving Feast where they have the kids bring in their favorite food and share with everyone. I was impressed this year with what the kids brought between all of them they had quite the full course. Starting with Salad, Mac and Cheese, Spagetti, Apples, Cereal, crackers, carrots and a cupcake. (Easton's was the Cupcake). I wanted to take pictures because I didn't with Hunter and their feast was Hillarious, it was hot dogs, and treat after treat after treat. Eastons class must be filled with much Heathier eaters. :)

My Sweet Baby Boy

I had to take this picture. Latley I have had to take Betty's bottles and binkis away from Easton. He loves to chew the ends of them off. So I've been hiding them and I was cleaning the house and thought I hadn't heard from him for a while. I went out to check on him and I found him sleeping on the couch with Betty's pink binki in his mouth! I know that he will probably be up set at me when he gets older for taking this but I had too! How cute.

New addition to the Greene Family.

This weekend we all drove to Jackson Hole so that Misty could get married at Ox Bow Bend. It was exciting to see the snow come down and has gotten me in the Christmas mood. The 32 degree's was little cold for an out door wedding but it was BEAUTIFUL. Congratulations Misty and Don! As many of you know I love to take pictures and then come home and play with them on the computer so I have attached some of the pictures I took after wedding. I was so sad that not even 1/2 way into the pictures my camera batteries died. I would have liked to take some more. Oh well.
