Memorial Day Weekend

You wouldn't think that it was summer by the temperature.   Thanks to dad he took us to the lake to go fishing because we are going to celebrate school being out by doing something fun over this holiday weekend So we started out the weekend by going fishing at Utah Lake.

The boys were really excited to go fishing.  We took our pole and our tackle box and headed down to the lake.

Betty wanted to throw rocks in the lake.  So we had a rock skipping contest.

Dad was the one who caught the 1st fish.  He caught this white bass with Betty's Dora fishing pole.  Hipp Hipp Horay!

Easton caught the 2nd fish.  He was so excited.  He threw the line, hooked and reeled the fish in all by his self.  He takes after his dad and grandpa.  What a great fisherman!!

Hunter was the next to catch a fish.  He was also way excited.  He reeled it in and had dad help him get it off.
He didn't want to touch the fish, so he had dad hold it while I took the picture.

The kids had so much fishing yesterday that they wanted to come back out today and fish some more.  So of course I brought my camera and took more pictures.

On the way to the lake we seen this tree house and tire swing off the side of the road a ways down by the lake so we decided to try and find it.  Once we did of course we had to play.  Here is a picture of Betty on the tire swing.

Hunter wasn't scared at all he was the 1st one to climb up the tree and into the house.  He was so excited.  Once he got up to the tree house someone had somehow gotten a black leather couch up there.  Not sure how they did that but he thought it was cool, if only it wasn't completely covered in bird poop.

As soon as Easton seen Hunter up there he wanted to go up too.   the wooden stairs that were nailed to the tree were spaced too far apart for Easton to go up by his self so dad went up behind him and helped him.  wow they do look just alike don't they?
Look at that smile.  He did it!!

Here is a picture of Easton, well being Easton while dad pushed Hunter in the swing.  they really had fun.

Look at that pair. Betty is definitely daddy's little girl!

We had so much fun we decided to come back and fish on Monday.  Betty was crazy and ran into the water.  She loved playing in the water the only thing was once she was done she was so cold that we had to go home to this fishing trip didn't last long.

Just before we left I even caught a fish.  It was a lot of fun.  I am so grateful to have Russ and my husband who can always find something fun to do no matter the weather.

Easton's Preschool Graduation Program

Here comes Easton through the doors as they called the kids names of the graduating preschool for this year.  He looks so handsome.

Here is a picture of Easton as they stood in front of all of us.

Look at that smile.  I love that face!

They have the kids read a book and sing a song at this program.  Here is a picture of Easton reading his book Who Will Help?  He did such a good job!

what more can I say!! I love this boy!!

The Song that he was picked to sing was Uncle Ugbee.  He was so cute watching him sing it.  One of the verses say's Uncle Ugbee is in his underware.  He smiles and laughs every time he sings it!

Here is a picture of you with your teacher Mrs. Henderson.

Grandma always comes and supports you in everything you do!! She said you had done such a GREAT job!!

Hunter loves you so much and wanted to have his picture taken with you.

Here is a picture of our family.  How you are growing up, way too fast!!
