Tribute to my Sweetheart

You have touched my life, In so many ways Your smile and heart have brightened my days. You have given me hope And unending faith You have guided my heart and have given me strength. You have inspired me, taught me, loved me, believed in me, and you have always given me the freedom to be. My past is the past, and my present is you and our future is never ending and will forever be true.

This last week has been really hard for me!! We had a sister in our ward pass away at 25 years old. Her and her husband have 1 little boy that is 4 years old. After going to her viewing, I was really scared. It became a reality to me that there may be a day where Russell wont come home after he leaves. I couldn't sleep at all that night. I kept looking at him. I reached over and held his hand and rubbed his arm and when he didn't wake up I ran my fingers through his hair, hoping that I wouldn't wake him while I gazed at him. He eventually woke up and asked me what I was doing and I told him how scared I was about him leaving and not coming home and he just held me.

I keep hearing this husband telling anyone who came through the viewing line to please go home and tell their wives how much you love them!! So I want to let Russell know how much I love him and how grateful I am that he is my husband!! I couldn't imagine him not being a part of my life!! He is an amazing father and even better husband!! Russell had made the comment the other day that we have almost been a part of each others lives longer than we haven't. We have been together 13 years this past July and Married for 8 of those years. I am so lucky have him as my husband and friend and look forward to many more years to come!! Russell I love you!!

Hunter's 1st Day of School

YEA!!! Hunter is back in school!! I know that for Hunter he was really excited to go back to school. His teacher is Mrs. McBride and after his 1st day of school he said that he really liked her that she was very nice!! I am looking forward to having Hunter in school. Getting a brake and also giving me some one on one time with Easton. Well as much as I can get in, usually he is crying wanting to go and pick Hunter up from school so that he can play with him! I cant believe how fast time goes by and how fast the kids are growing up!!

Jackson Hole

I am sorry it has been so long since I have posted! I have had so much going on and my blog is what had to be procrastinated. Well every year since Russell has been 2 years old his family goes to Jackson Hole. I love going it is one of the most relaxing trips that we do all year. The first day We go to town and shop and then go to dinner to the Bar J where they feed you a great meal and then we get to see a Bar J Wranglers program that is so fun!! Because The Bar J are so popular you have to reserve tickets and then pick them up the day of the program and Russell will go and stand in line to get our tickets and pick us a seat and while he is in line we go swimming in the pool at the hotel. The next day we drive through Yellowstone and go and see Old Faithful. One of the picture's that we take every year it at Oxbow Bend. It was one of Russell's Grandma Greene's favorite places to go to and she has done several paintings of this site.

This year Shelly Russell's sister and her family cam with us. It is the first time she has been able to go in a several years and it was funny each morning she would call our room at like 9:00am and say it my niece ready for me to come and get her. She would then come and get her while I got ready for the day. Every time I sat her down she would come and pick her up! Betty really got spoiled by Aunt Shelly while we were on the trip. I think the only time she was sat down was between 9:00PM and 9:00AM for the morning call!! I am glad that you were able to go with us this year Shell!!!! It is a really fun trip. Here are a few of the pictures from our trip.
