4 - Generation Pictures

I was so excited!! I have been waiting for this day ever since I found out that I was having a girl!! I have wanted to get a 4 - generation picture taken with my family and we went and had the pictures taken today!! I am so excited. I have ordered 10 X 13 size pictures of the 4 generation hands picture, the close up of Betty in her blessing dress and the picture of Betty with my grandma.

As most of you know Betty was named after both my grandma's Betty after my mom's - mom who is in the picture with us and Faye after my dads mom who died when I was 10 years old. Both of them have been great influences in my life and I know that by having Betty named after them will give her big shoes to fill which I know she will!! I was so excited to have these pictures taken today. I was brought to tear while picking out these pictures!! I am so excited to finally have these pictures and I will treasure them FOREVER!!

I also have pictures of my family taken as well and I have to say, I my be prejudice but I think I have some of the cutest kids around!! I love the picture of Russ with Betty!

Betty's Blessing Day

We blessed Betty Yesterday. Russell was amazing!! He always gives beautiful blessing and I am so lucky to have family members who are able to write down the blessing as it is given so that my kids can reflect back on those blessings throughout their lives!! Thank you Misty and Jolene for helping me write it down. I am always overwhelmed by the support that we have from our friends and family we are truly blessed!! I truly feel loved and Betty is so blessed to have so many people who love her and would take the time out of their busy schedules to come and support her!!

Thanks to all of you who participated in Betty's blessing day and thank you for making it so special by being apart of it!! Thanks to those who helped out by bringing food and helping set up for the dinner after the blessing!! It was so fun to be able to visit with some of those who came and shared in this special day!! Also an extra special thanks to Sherri for helping me make Betty's blessing dress and for her hair bow!! I couldn't have EVER accomplished such a feat without you and I know she will treasure it for the rest of her life and will want to use it for her little girl!!

Betty looked amazing in her dress!! She looked so beautiful!! She is my little princess an on this very special day she was even dressed like my little princess!!

Betty's 1st 4-wheeler ride and Dove Hunt Scouting Trip

Saturday They boys wanted to go for a 4-wheeler ride. Russell thought that it would be fun to take them out and while they were out they would also scout for dove's since the dove hunt started today. I was debating whether or not to go with Betty just because she is so small and there is no way to be able to hold onto her if we wrecked but Russ said he would be careful so we all went.

I was so glad that we did!! It was so much fun. Hunter and Easton played in the dirt while Russell and I watched for and counted the number of Doves that flew over. I got some cute pictures of all my boys. I saw them walking down the dirt road and had to get their pictures. Hunter also wanted to take some pictures of us so he took some of the rest of us on the 4-wheeler.

Can you believe how red Betty's hair is?? This is the first picture taken where you can see how red her hair is!! I cant believe how beautiful she is!! I have tried to color my hair to be that pretty auburn red and it wouldn't take and she has it naturally.

After about an hour and a half and 60 doves later we decided to come home and as we were driving down one of the dirt roads we passed a trianthela walking in the dirt so I had Russell pull out my camera and take a picture of it! I was sure glad it was so far away from my home!!
