If you can call it a VACATION!!

O.K. So this was suppose to be our "break" from the stresses of life and a family vacation!! So where do you go but to the Happiest Place on Earth right?

We were suppose to leave Sunday morning. Saturday Morning Hunter woke up and was coughing and we thought it sounded like croup. We took him to the insta-care and found out that it wasn't croup just a virus that was going around and the gave him a strong antibiotic and so Russ and I went home and we decided to post pone the trip and called the travel agent and to make a long story short, we couldn't change the dates until the fall and without several hundred dollars.

So we decided to see how Hunter was doing Sunday Morning. We woke up and he was doing a lot better so we decided to go. We get to the Airport and both Russell and I are not feeling well. We board the plane and take off. With in 10-15 minutes I got sick and there were no throw up bags at my seat, so I rushed to the bathrooms and both were being used. So needless to say I threw up all over. Not fun, but I felt somewhat better.

We get to California. Get our rental car and get checked in to the hotel. We decided to take the kids to Disneyland. We were able to go on several of the rides until the sun went down and it got cold. We decided to go back to the hotel because we had 3 days still. ha ha. At 3:00 am Russell woke up in a lot of pain. We rushed him to the emergency room and found out that he had a Kidney Stone. He was given pain pills and was sent to the hotel to rest and let it pass. The kids were great. Easton, Russell and I went to sleep and Hunter watched Cartoons. Around noon-ish I woke up and Hunter was so awesome!! So I took him down to the pool to swim while we waited for the stone to pass. When we came back up about 1 hour later Russell was doing a lot better so Hunter and I went for lunch.

We then decided to go to Disneyland with the kids. Trying to make the best out of the trip. I pushed the stroller around the park with both the kids because Russ is still recovering and sore. We went on a few rides and watched a parade and then it got cold and so we decided to go back to the hotel. I woke up that night and I had hurt my back and couldn't hardly move. I tried several times throughout that day to get out of bed and could hardly move so around 2:00 I told Russ to take the kids over because I didn't feel it was fair to have them stay at the hotel again!!
They returned to the hotel that night and the next morning we both got up and took the kids to Disneyland California until 2:00pm and then we went to the airport and flew home.

What a trip ha?? Hopefully next spring we can try it again with better luck!! Hunter was great about the entire thing. He actually thought that Disney Land opened until the afternoon. He never wined about going over when we couldn't. He's a great kid!!!

Well, it seems like you made the best of the trip even with all the problems. At least you got some cute pictures to scrapbook!
